D Darryl Sydor

Darryl Sydor was inked by the Pittsburgh Penguins on July 1st, 2007, before the 2007/2008 season. Sydor was brought in by Pittsburgh to add experience to a team that was extremely young. Since he won the Cup in 1999, Penguins GM Ray Shero thought bringing in a veteran player like Sydor to teach the young guys a little more so their game gets better would be a wise investment. So far though, Sydor has been a major disappointment for the Penguins and there have been rumors of Sydor being traded before the 2008/2009 season starts.
