D Alex Goligoski

Alex Goligoski (try saying that 10 times fast), was a 2nd round draft pick by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2004. Instead of turning pro right away, Goligoski decided to stay at the University of Minnesota. He got his first crack in the Penguins minor league system last year as he played 70 games for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. He also played 3 games with the Pittsburgh Penguins. His assets include puck-handling, creativity and playmaking ability, however he needs to improve on his skating and strength. Expect to see Goligoski in a Pens uni next year possibly for a while.
